Cummins NT855 – M250

The Cummins NT855-M250(1800 RPM) Marine Main Engine is a 6-cylinder inline, 14-liter four-stroke engine with a 140 mm (5.5 in) bore and a 152 mm (6.0 in) stroke. Equipped with a PT Fuel System and turbocharger, this marine diesel engine complies with IMO-NOx requirements set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). It delivers continuous power of 250 HP (187 kW) at 1800 RPM, with a maximum torque of 1044 N.m at 1300 RPM.

• The NT-series marine engine is characterized by a stable performance, a low failure rate, optimum combustion, rapid starting, high acceleration, high cooling pressure, excellent detection characteristics, high reliability, durability, and high reliability.
• The engine meets the requirements for IMO Tier2 emission regulations. It adopts CMI’s high-efficiency turbocharger and intercooler, which make it run efficiently. Low-temperature technology is used to reduce fuel consumption and emissions while improving engine reliability.
• It can achieve energy savings with high efficiency and high-injection pressure. The ESTC electronic timing control valve equipped with the engine can precisely adjust and supplement the timing, and improve the color of the combustion smoke at low idle speeds.
