Equipped with a PT Fuel System and turbocharger, the prime power range of Cummins Kta50-M series marine main engine is from 1400 HP to 2200 HP (1044 kW to 1641 kW). The torque range of the K50-M Series marine main engine is 6530 N.m to 8100 N.m.

CCEC marine main engines have different configurations, each with varying power outputs. The code T in the engine model name indicates a turbocharged engine, code TA means turbocharged with a water-air intercooler, and code TAA signifies turbocharged with an air-air intercooler.
