The Cummins 6CT8.3-GM115 marine auxiliary engine is a 6-cylinder in-line, 8.3-liter four-stroke engine with a 114mm bore and 135mm stroke. It is equipped with a BYC PB fuel pump GAC electronic governor and a turbocharger. The prime power for the generator set at 1500RPM is 115kW.

Cummins 6CT8.3-GM115 provides both heat exchanger cooling and radiator cooling marine auxiliary engines, primarily used for marine main generators and marine emergency generators. For emergency generator set applications, additional options are available for customers, such as a dual starter motor system, providing both electric and spring starter motors, as required by most international classifications.

Cummins 6CT8.3-GM115 comes with a dry-type exhaust system, including a dry-type exhaust manifold and dry-type turbocharger. We offer upgrading services for water-cooled exhaust systems and modifying dry-type exhaust systems into water-cooled ones, which are quite important and often requested for passenger boat projects.
